Job Details – Technical Sales Manager
We’re seeking an experienced Technical Sales Manager to drive growth and support our clients with expert technical advice.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet targets.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Provide technical expertise on valve products and solutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Stay updated on market trends and competitor activities.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Minimum 5 years of technical sales experience in valves or a related industry.
Strong technical knowledge of valves and applications.
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to travel and meet sales goals.
Fluent in English; additional languages like Japanese or Mandarin are a plus.
Bonus Consideration for candidates with:
- 15+ years of experience in valve engineering and control for oil & gas services.
- Expertise in valve installation, troubleshooting, and design.
- Familiarity with P&ID, piping drawings, standards like ASME, ASTM, API, and valve management systems (VMS).
- Experience with project management and offshore work (HUET & T-BOSIET certified).
